 About

Musart Band

Cellovoce is a contemporary female vocal group from Liskeard, led by Musical Director and cellist, Charlotte Heritage.
Formed in 2018, the choir has quickly grown into a tight-knit ensemble of experienced singers offering close harmonies and exhilarating performances, accompanied by cello and djembe.
We strive for musical excellence focusing on pure, acoustic harmonies whilst maintaining a sense of fun and joy. Our repertoire ranges from the foot-tapping Pompeii and the breathtaking Say Something to the exhilarating Baba Yetu. With such a wide-ranging repertoire featuring a fusion of traditional and contemporary arrangements, we aim to engage with our audience from the very first note.
Our musical director and founder, Charlotte, is an accomplished cellist. Charlotte has an extensive musical background having performed in orchestral settings since the age of 7, including international performances. She has a BA (Hons) in music as well as a PGCE in secondary music. As well as teaching music and having led a number of children’s orchestras, she has sung and performed with local choirs Playful Chorus, Jambawolly Picnic and Canoryon Lowen.
